About Us ... Baby Face Addict Fun Fashion Books
Baby Face Dolls are very popular today as witnessed by the many web sites, Clubs, and newsletters devoted to them. Avid collectors seek clothes and all types of accessories for their expressive little ladies.
The original outfits worn by the Baby Face dolls were created by Judy Albert, who also has fame for the Cabbage Patch family of dolls. Only a very few other outfits were made for the dolls by Galoob. One commercial pattern was sold briefly. Due to their pudgy little pear-shaped bodies, big heads, and wide splayed hands, most other doll clothes do not fit them properly.
I’ve been sewing for dolls (and people) since, as a child in the 1950’s; I won a toy Betsy Ross Sewing Machine in a grocery store coloring book contest. I’ve sewn everything from baby clothes to wedding gowns. Over the years, making doll clothes, especially reproducing vintage clothing for Baby Boomer Dolls, has brought me a lot of joy. I discovered Baby Face Dolls in 2006 and I’ve been fascinated with them ever since.
I’ve designed my patterns to properly fit their cute pudgy bodies, and offer fun wardrobe alternatives for your Baby Face Dolls! Many of my pattern pieces are used in more than one outfit. You can mix and match to make a huge wardrobe for your little ladies. But clothes were not enough for me – I had to make shoes, hats, and accessories too!
Within the volumes of The Baby Face Doll Addict Fun Fashion Pattern Books, you will find something special for every occasion!
